Hey guys!
   I'm totally new to this blogging stuff, so be patient with me! Lets see.......where do I begin?

Found Tresures:

 While taking my bf to work the other day, I passed a driveway with alot of "garbage" as he calls it. Hmmmm, I guess he couldnt see my vision. What I saw was an old 50's retro dresser with all the drawers in tact, a black tv cart with caster wheels, and a reproduction corner stand with spindles!
He was still talking about something, I think, as my mind was racing to figure out a way to load the dresser into my truck by myself!
I'm what my family so fondly calls me , a junk collector, and other names which I choose to ignore. Hey i'll be the first to admit it! I cringe when I see useful items tossed on the side of the road. All they need is some sanding and a little paint to turn out a beautiful piece of furniture. I love to see their reaction as they admire my latest find, then I tell them it didnt cost me anything, just a little time and love.
So back to my story, I dropped him off at work then did a u-turn and went back to retrieve
the items, hoping that no one had seen them and got there first. They were still there....YES! My heart did a happy dance as I loaded them into my truck. Later that night my bf asks "what I did you do today?". Feeling kinda guilty for picking up the " garbage", I smiled and said " oh, you know me, I went back and picked up the furniture we passed on the way to work". He kinda smiled and chuckled to himself and said " that's my girl!" So nice when your guy truely understands you...... :)
